Dr. Bret Derrick, PT, DPT, OCS, CEES

Bret graduated with a BSPT from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 1982. Bret spent 18 years in multiple therapy settings, including inpatient acute care, outpatient orthopedics, and industrial therapy. Bret was the founder of Broadway Ergonomics, LLC in 1998 and became sole owner in 2005. Presently, he has been an operating partner in Broadway Ergonomics, LLC since 2012. 

Bret is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and received his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine DPT program in December 2014.  Bret is also certified as an Ergonomic Evaluation Specialist from Roy Matheson and Associates, Inc. Bret remains an active member in the American Physical Therapy Association, the Missouri Physical Therapy Association, and the American Society of Safety Engineers.

Dr. Eric Schultz, PT, DPT, CEES

Eric graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2008 and received his doctoral degree in physical therapy in 2010. Eric has worked in various settings, including inpatient acute care, outpatient physical therapy, and industrial therapy. In early 2012, Eric became an operating partner with Bret at Broadway Ergonomics, LLC. Eric serves as an adjunct professor in the University of Missouri DPT program. Also, he is active in both the American Physical Therapy Association and the Missouri Physical Therapy Association and recently served as section chair for the American Society of Safety Engineers. Eric is dually licensed to practice physical therapy in both Missouri and Kansas.  Eric has a strong passion for working with and preventing injuries in the workplace along with optimizing the performance of athletes. Eric is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute and recently completed and passed his certification for Certified Ergonomic Evaluation Specialist through Roy Matheson and Associates, Inc. 

Alexandra Brown, MS, LAT, ATC

Alexandra received her bachelor’s degree in Athletic training from Washburn University in 2017. Upon graduation, she received a graduate assistantship to Missouri State University where she studied a unique approach to orthopedic rehabilitation, sport performance and leadership.

Alex is an engaged leader in the profession of athletic training and enjoys serving as a preceptor for undergraduate and graduate students. She is passionate about total body health and wellness while educating others to live their best lives – pain free. She is an advocate for injury prevention and strives to promote a safe, healthy, productive work environment.

Outside of work, she enjoys being active outside, lifting weights, gardening, reading, and spending quality time with her husband and two young daughters.
